After dining along the San Juan R, the members spent a secluded evening somewhere in the middle of the vast Navajo Reservation.  The next morning, they toured wonderful Page, AZ and the Navajo Power Plant.  They visited the incredible Glen Canyon Dam, as well, where they marveled at the awesome concrete structure and the slow, icy, green river.


Here, John H Stansfield is shown preparing for the trip at the trailhead.  After a few miles and many river crossings, the expedition reached the "Windows".  Mr. Stansfield is shown crossing the river in the windows section.
